    1. Do you remember my Mum? She would have been there at the same time as you. Her name was Eileen O'Connor. Her elder sister Mary O'Connor (who became Mary Turner) went there too I think.

    1. I loved Mrs Kynaston - she taught me music & singing when I was there from 1953-57. I went down to see her after I left school.

Yes, I thought she was wonderful and so inspiring. I was a boarder there from 1962. Are you the daughter of Nicholas Kynaston? There is a Greenway Reunion on 20th Sept at the Tiverton Hotel.

    3. Hello Sarah Frost. My name is Bobby and I am trying to write an history of Greenway School for a project I am working on on for Tiverton Museum on Catholicism in Tiverton. Do you have any idea if there is an archive anywhere or if you know if there is anywhere I can go to find information on the School, please? Much appreciated

  5. I was there in 1947 aged 7. I hated it. I thought the nuns were cruel and unkind. I was miserable and my treatment there was nothing short of cruel. Has affected me all my life.

I attended the convent in the 60's I was 5 my memories of my time there are good. The younger nuns that looked after us little ones were fun. I shared a dorm with Irene Costello, Anne (she was french) and Claire from Scotland. I was the only black child there at the time.
